Anya K. Breitenbach
Director, Business Development
Anya K. Breitenbach is director of business development for Xanterra Parks & Resorts. She is responsible for formulating new business strategy, directing the bid production process and cultivating client relations. She also oversees a variety of special projects.
Prior to joining Xanterra, Breitenbach directed new business and marketing efforts for commercial, nonprofit and municipal entities. Her unique approach has allowed her to forge alliances which boost companies' bottom-line returns while making attractions accessible to broader audiences.
Breitenbach formerly was account group manager for Schenkein, one of the Rocky Mountain region's top public relations firms. Previously, Breitenbach led both agency and in-house corporate marketing efforts for commercial businesses, government agencies, social service organizations and cultural attractions, including Globus & Cosmos, the Denver Public Library and the Mellon PSFS Jazz Festival, Philadelphia's largest outdoor music event.
Long active in community affairs, she serves on the boards of Colorado Ballet and the Denver Art Museum's Alliance for Contemporary Art, as well as the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau Marketing Committee. Breitenbach has been recognized as an emerging business leader by the Denver Business Journal and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber 100 program.
