William C. Rau, Director, Human Resources
William C. Rau is director of human resources for Xanterra Parks & Resorts. Rau is responsible for developing policy and directing human resources activities, such as organizational development; training; recruiting; legal compliance; employee and labor relations; compensation; benefits; and employee services for the corporate office and locations nationwide.
Prior to joining Xanterra, Rau was an implementation specialist with Northern Trust Retirement Consulting and manager of business programs at The HMO Group (now known as the Alliance of Community Health Plans). He has also held human resources-related positions at Overlook Health System, The Dreyfus Corporation and Hay Group.
Rau is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). A native of Long Island, New York, Rau holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master of arts degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of New Haven.
