Robert T. Yow, Vice President, Business Development
Robert T. Yow is the Vice President of Business Development for Xanterra Parks & Resorts and is responsible for identifying and evaluating prospective business opportunities and managing all mergers, acquisitions and concession transaction activities for Xanterra.
Yow has a diverse background in corporate finance, real estate, and private equity. Most recently, he was Vice President with V3 Capital Strategies, a boutique middle-market private equity and business advisory firm, where he was responsible for acquiring and growing portfolio companies, leading due diligence efforts and working with external financing sources.
Yow also served as a Principal with Arcapita, a global investment banking and alternative investment group headquartered in Bahrain, and in various acquisitions and investor relations positions with CNL Financial Group, a Florida-based private investment management firm providing global real estate and alternative investment opportunities. Prior to joining CNL Financial Group, Yow was based in London as an investment banker and equity analyst with Bear Stearns, a global investment banking and securities firm, covering European and Asian real estate, gaming, lodging, and leisure companies.
Yow began his career as an officer and attack helicopter pilot in the United States Army, with command assignments in the United States, Asia, and the Middle East. He is a graduate of several military qualification courses including the U.S. Army Aviation Rotary Wing Qualification Course, AH-1 Cobra Aviator Qualification Course, AH-64 Apache Aviator Qualification Course, Airborne Course, and Air Assault Course as well as held an FAA Commercial Pilot rating in both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
Yow is licensed by the Financial Services Authority in the United Kingdom as an investment advisor. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.
