    Living in a National Park

    Lodging and Meals

Specific meal policies may vary from park to park. Please note that because of the large number of meals prepared each day, we cannot accommodate restricted or vegetarian diets.

Employee lodging facilities are generally dormitory-style facilities with communal baths. Nearly all employees will share a room with a roommate. Housing for couples is limited and available only when both are employed by the Company. Most Xanterra Parks & Resorts locations cannot provide housing for families with children. Employees are not allowed to keep pets in Company housing.

A limited number of trailer sites with full hook-ups are available for employees who bring their own self-contained recreational vehicle (single body, hard sided with shower/toilet facilities).

Meal and Lodging costs vary by property.

    Cost of Living

Other amenities include free uniforms, free laundry facilities, free utilities and free satellite access in all dorm recreation rooms.

Don't forget ... living at one of these national parks gives you free access to some of the best hiking, climbing, biking, camping, photography, canyoneering, wildlife viewing and bird watching in the world! While the average visitor only has a few days to spend in our National Parks, you have several months. Take full advantage of this amazing opportunity! Explore some of the activities available now.
