Shane J. Harvey,
Director, Legal Affairs
As Director of Legal Affairs, Harvey provides legal counsel to Xanterra on real property, environmental, contract and other corporate matters. Harvey is also responsible for working with Xanterra’s Business Development department with respect to real property and government contract acquisition opportunities.
Prior to joining the company in 2009, Harvey was a real estate attorney at the Denver law firm of Jacobs Chase, where he specialized in resort acquisition and development work. Harvey practiced real estate law in Aspen, Colorado for eight years, including five years at the firm of Holland & Hart where he was a partner and co-chair of the firm’s Resorts, Lodging and Leisure Industry Practice Group.
Harvey has also served as a vice president of a development company involved in the development of a private ski and golf resort in Big Sky, Montana.
A fifth-generation Coloradoan, Harvey holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a law degree from the University of Denver. He is a member of the Colorado Bar.
