Stephen W. Tedder, Vice President, National Parks
Stephen W. Tedder is vice president of national parks for Xanterra Parks & Resorts and oversees concession operations in Grand Canyon National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Zion National Park, Petrified Forest National Park and Crater Lake National Park. He also oversees the operations of Furnace Creek Resort, Stovepipe Wells and Scotty’s Castle in Death Valley National Park, as well as Grand Canyon Railway in Williams, Arizona.
Tedder was previously vice president of national park operations for TW Recreational Services, which was purchased by Xanterra in December 1995. Prior to that, he was vice president and general manager of TW Recreational Services’ Utah division and manager of visitor services at the Kennedy Space Center. A native of Key West, Florida, Tedder has a degree in sales distribution and marketing from the Brevard Community College in Cocoa, Florida, and is a certified member of the National Association of Concessioners.
Tedder is a past board member of the Grand Canyon Foundation, the Yellowstone History Association and the National Park Hospitality Association.
