Stewart E. Hengsteler, Director, Financial Planning
As the director of financial planning, Hengsteler is responsible for coordinating the completion of the consolidated company annual financial plan. He is also responsible for preparing various ongoing financial analyses to enhance management’s decision-making ability and improve the company’s profitability. This includes the analysis of existing operations and modeling federal and state concession opportunities. He is also responsible for reviewing and assisting with coordinating the data, financial analysis, and valuation elements for potential hospitality acquisitions.
Hengsteler has 16 years of professional experience in hospitality property and asset management, including 11 years in several capacities with Sage Hospitality Resources. His most recent responsibilities included financial structuring, acquisition, and recapitalization of four-star hospitality assets. Hengsteler, an Ohio native, has a Cornell University MBA and Wittenberg University BA, with an added seven years experience owning and operating two retail businesses.
