1876 – The Fred Harvey Company is established, providing lunchrooms along the Santa Fe rail lines.
1968 – Amfac Parks & Resorts acquires the Fred Harvey Company
1995 – Amfac Parks & Resorts acquires TW Recreational Services; moves to Denver.
2002 – Amfac Parks & Resorts changes its name to Xanterra Parks & Resorts.
2004 – Xanterra Parks & Resorts awarded contract to operate concessions at Mount Rushmore National Memorial for another 10 years.
2006 – Xanterra Parks & Resorts awarded contract to operate Trail Ridge Gift Store and Restaurant at Rocky Mountain National Park.
2007 – Xanterra acquires Grand Canyon Railway.
2008 – The Anschutz Company acquires Xanterra Parks & Resorts.
2011– Xanterra Parks & Resorts acquires Windstar Cruises.
2013 – Xanterra Parks & Resorts acquires three Seabourn suites-only ships to expand Windstar Cruises fleet; VBT (Vermont) Bicycling & Touring, offering deluxe, small-group tours worldwide; and The Grand Hotel in Tusayan, Ariz.
2013- Xanterra Parks & Resorts wins contract to operate concessions in Yellowstone National Park for another 20 years.
2013 – Xanterra Parks & Resorts wins contract to operate concessions in Glacier National Park.
2016 – Xanterra Parks & Resorts purchases Cedar Creek Lodge in Columbia Falls, Montana.
2018 – Xanterra Parks & Resorts changes its name to Xanterra Travel Collection.
