Tim SchoonoverMr. Schoonover leads the strategic supply chain activities and relationships for Xanterra’s portfolio of companies across all product and service channels in the travel and hospitality portfolio. He is responsible for creating synergies across Xanterra’s various business channels, leveraging scale, identifying process improvements, and creating cost efficiencies in products, services and capital in all spend categories.

Additionally, Schoonover leads Xanterra’s company-wide retail portfolio, including stores in national parks, world-class resorts and its luxury cruise line, Windstar Cruises. He is operationally responsible for the management of the company’s National Park operations at Mt. Rushmore National Memorial and Rocky Mountain National Park, and plays a key role in business development.

Schoonover previously served as Executive Vice President, Licensing & Merchandising, for CORE Media Group, leading the worldwide retail, licensing and merchandising efforts for Muhammad Ali Enterprises, Elvis Presley Enterprises, 19 Entertainment/American Idol artist portfolios, and Sharp Entertainment television properties.

Schoonover led the corporate merchandising group for Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company for seven years, was Vice President of Retail Operations with Six Flags Corporation, and has held retail executive positions in the duty-free, cruise line and airport business. He started his management career with Aramark Inc. in both Miami and Orlando within Aramark’s airport division.

A graduate of State University of New York, Schoonover is married and has one child.
