We offer two types of gift cards for purchase. For quick delivery we have Digital Gift
Cards that can be emailed to recipients within minutes, and Physical Gift cards that can
be mailed via standard USPS mail and expedited via Fedex.
The remaining balance can be applied to a credit card or other form of payment.
No, Xanterra Travel Collection gift cards (with the exception of promotional cards that
are obtained without a purchase) do not expire or carry any fees.
Yes, our gift cards have a minimum value of $10 and a maximum value of $2,000 per
card. Up to (5) gift cards for a total value of $10,000 may be purchased in a 24 hour
period.
To check your gift card balance, go to xanterra.com/giftcard and click the “Check
Balance” link or call 1-800-230-1104. When prompted, enter the gift card number and
pin.
Online gift card orders for Physical cards received by 12pm CST are processed the
following business day. Our basic shipping method is regular USPS mail and we allow
10 business days for arrival before reissuing an order. If you selected expedited Fedex
shipping, please check the tracking link you were provided.

No, we require a credit or debit card as the form of payment for a deposit on a lodging, cruise or tour reservation; however a gift card can be applied to your final payment for the stay, cruise or tour.

In the case of a valid trip cancellation, a new gift card will be issued to you for the amount originally paid via gift card. All other funds will be refunded to the original form of payment.

Yes a gift card can be applied to your final payment for a lodging reservation for any Xanterra Travel Collection hotel.
Yes a gift card can be applied to a purchase of merchandise in either the Xanterra Travel Collection onsite retail stores or on the online retail stores.
Yes a gift card can be applied to a food and beverage/dining purchase at the Xanterra Travel Collection onsite outlets.
Yes a gift card can be applied to most tours and activities that are operated by the Xanterra Travel Collection at the national park locations.
Xanterra gift cards are issued in USD and are valid to be used in all destinations in which we operate.
Gift cards may be used for certain online purchases. In the case that online redemption is not available, an alternative redemption option will be provided for that purchase.
Yes, your gift card can be used for a gratuity if it is added to your total purchase amount
in one transaction. A gift card cannot be used solely for gratuity in a separate transaction.
Gift cards should be treated like cash. Xanterra Travel Collection cannot be responsible for lost or stolen cards. You can call 1-800-230-1104 to freeze the card so no one else can use it.
Physical cards – It is lost, but we can freeze it to prevent it from being used before they
find it. Refer them to 1-800-230-1104.
If you misplaced your Digital Gift Card, click on the link in the original email to access it. If you no longer have the original email, please contact the purchaser of the Digital Gift Card and have them resend it to you.
If you still have funds on it and never received it from an online order, we can deactivate and send them another one. Refer them to 1-800-230-1104.

No, gift cards are a final purchase with no return options.
There are no fees, delivery or handling charges; you only pay for the face value of the
Digital Gift Card.
We’re sorry but all Digital Gift Card transactions are final. If you want to increase the
Digital Gift Card value, then a new transaction will be required.
To resend your Digital Gift Card, enter your email address and confirmation number, then select the “Track” button. Once the Digital Gift Card appears, select the “Send”
button. Enter the appropriate email address and select “Submit.” The Digital Gift Card has now been resent.
The recipient of the Digital Gift Card will receive an email and mobile notification (if
you selected this option) indicating that a Digital Gift Card has been sent to them. These
notifications include any personal messages and images you added during the Digital Gift Card purchase process.
You will receive an email notification when the recipient opens the email containing their
Digital Gift Card. You can also track the status of the gift card by entering your
confirmation number and email address.
All Digital Gift Cards purchased are subject to credit card and security processing. This
typically occurs within 20 minutes however it could take up to 24 hours. If cards are not received within 24 hours please contact our customer support.
Occasionally Digital Gift Cards are intercepted by spam filters; please check with the
recipient to see if their Digital Gift Card is in their spam or junk folders. It is also
possible that the email address was incorrectly entered at the time of purchase; please
check the email address you entered for the recipient. You can also resend the Digital Gift Card by entering the email address and confirmation number associated with the Digital Gift Card, then selecting the “Track” button. Once the gift card appears, select the “Send” button. Enter the appropriate email address and select
“Submit.” The gift card has now been resent.
This is a very popular feature if you want your Digital Gift Card to arrive at that very
special moment. Digital Gift Cards can be delivered immediately (subject to credit card and security processing time) or at any future date and time.
Unfortunately, we are unable to convert an Digital Gift Card to a Physical one. The
Digital Gift Card can be sent to you for printing and forwarding, the same way you would forward a Physical card. Remember that Digital Gift Cards can be personalized with
audio, images, and text messages which make it a truly unique gift.
Some email systems and browsers are set to block images and pop-ups which can prevent a recipient from receiving their Digital Gift Card. Please click on the “via web browser” link which is located in the upper right hand corner of the email. Also, check to ensure the pop-up blocker is temporarily disabled; this is typically a yellow box of text just
below the browser tabs.
The purchaser of the Digital Gift Card has the ability to resend your Digital Gift Card
using their confirmation number and email address. Please contact the purchaser and have them resend the Digital Gift Card. If you are the purchaser of the Digital Gift Card,
please contact our support center for assistance. Our phone number can be found at the bottom of the website where you purchased the Digital Gift Card.
Xanterra Travel Collection Gift Cards allow funds to be transferred to another Xanterra Travel Collection Gift Card by calling 1-800-230-1104. You will need the 16-digit account number, and 4-digit PIN (or Security Code) from each Gift
Card to do so. Depending on where the cards were originally purchased and
activated, some cards may not be eligible for transferring funds.
